Skyscrapers and stadiums—massive structures built on steel frameworks. At COLABO, we produce the drawings that make these structures possible. On construction sites, drawings serve as the starting point for every process—the common language shared by everyone involved. When drawings stop, construction stops. Our mission is to eliminate uncertainty on site and ensure projects move forward efficiently and reliably.

Since our founding, one belief has always been firmly determined: We want people to feel glad they encountered COLABO on their journey. Guided by that belief, we regularly visit construction sites, gathering insights that can only be obtained on site and using them to continuously refine our proposals. Rather than simply producing drawings as requested, we work closely with our clients to identify better ways to carry each project forward. Through this process of improvement, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner to our clients. Today, we are involved in structural steel projects totaling around 80,000 tons annually, and our revenue has grown to over 1 billion yen. With this foundation, achieving 3 billion or 5 billion yen in revenue is no longer out of reach.

However, more important than simply growing in scale is maintaining an environment where people are empowered to take on challenges. KOHEI KOSHIMAE

Executive team

CEO KOHEI KOSHIMAE

After graduating from high school, he gained experience at a structural steel design company while developing his engineering skills at a technical school at night.
He then joined the construction division of a major trading company, where he built his expertise in large-scale construction projects.
At the age of 31, he founded his own company and incorporated it the following year. Over the next decade, he built the company into an organization with annual revenue exceeding 1 billion yen.

Executive Officer YOSHIYA KURAMOTO

He began his career at a steel fabrication plant before joining COLABO mid-career.
Currently serving as Executive Officer, he leads the division overseeing the full process from design through on-site delivery. As a hands-on manager, he directs complex projects while also dedicating effort to mentoring young engineers and developing internal training programs.

Senior Managing Director YUKIKO YANAGITAI

After graduating from a technical college, she worked at several steel fabrication plants, handling drawing operations and building practical experience on site.
She then gained further expertise at leading steel fabricators and design firms before co-founding the company with Mr. Koshimae.
Currently serving as Senior Managing Director, her main focus is to oversee the technical division and play a central role in both employee development and business growth.

Director KOICHI FUJIMURA

After graduating from university, he began his career at a foreign pharmaceutical company and later expanded his experience to a major beverage manufacturer. He has held management positions in sales, human resources and general affairs, overseeing organizational operations.
Holding multiple professional qualifications, including Certified Administrative Procedures Legal Specialist as well as Labor and Social Security Attorney— he manages key administrative functions and ensures all operations run effectively.
